NEW ORLEANS (CN) - New Orleans Police officers viciously beat, kicked and stomped a man in the French Quarter because he is black, Ronald Coleman claims in Federal Court. Coleman, an attorney and national legislative coordinator for ACORN, says that when he told his 10 attackers he's a lawyer, they fled, failed to write a report, and covered up the assault, part of a pattern of racist police attacks. See complaint.
