CHICAGO (CN) - Basil Evelyn sued New York Knick Eddy Curry and his agent Lamont Carter, claiming they breached a contract to hire him as Curry's personal trainer in exchange for his guaranteeing and providing collateral for Curry to take out a $410,000 loan.
Evelyn claims in Cook County Court that after Bank of America gave Curry the $410,000 loan in February 2007, Curry and Carter stiffed him. He demands punitive damages.
