LAFAYETTE, LA. (CN) - An inmate was beaten to death at a boxing match inside a private prison, John Richard Floyd's survivors claim in Federal Court. They claim LCS Correction Services, which runs a prison in Basile, La., to hold Alabama state prisoners, organized the bout but failed to provide medical attention after Floyd collapsed on July 10, 2007, and failed to have equipment or trained personnel on hand.
