LAS VEGAS (CN) - Super lightweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. claims boxing promoter Top Rank cheated him of his fair share of the purse for two fights, in 2004 and 2006.
Mayweather says he should have got 85 percent of net revenue for his 2004 fight against Arturo Gatti, and 80 percent of profits for a 2006 fight against Zab Judah. But the Las Vegas resident and former "Dancing With The Stars" contender claims that Top Rank refuses to show him the books.
Mayweather demands at least $40,000, and an accounting, in Clark County Court.
