SAN DIEGO (CN) - Richard Sills pleaded guilty on Tuesday to making bomb threats by telephone and mail to interfere with animal research facilities at the University of California, San Diego. Sills, 54, of La Jolla, also admitted he planted a false bomb in a campus building, federal prosecutors said.
He faces up to 5 years in prison and a $250,000 fine at his June 16 sentencing.
