Ford Motor Credit Co. claims Joan Myers and the Myers & Associates law firm charged it $457,975 in court fees and filing costs for collecting delinquent accounts "but failed to file suit against any party," in Fort Worth Federal Court.
Ford also claims that Myers cost it $2 million by holding 3,226 files valued at $35.8 million for an average of four years, then closing them without taking any action, after the statute of limitations had expired.
