Navistar Financial racially harassed and discriminated against black employees by, among other things, labeling licorice twists in the lunchroom as "lynching ropes," and fired one for complaining of it, according to a complaint in Collin County Court, McKinney, Texas.
Class-action complaints alleging Labor Code violations have been filed against these defendants: Unisys, in Orange County Court, Calif.; Unum Group, Rent-A-Center, and Trimac Transportation Services / Logistics Express, in Los Angeles Superior Court; Stewart Title of California, in Fresno Superior Court; Illinois Tool Works dba Signode Packaging Systems, in Chicago Federal Court; Western Beef, in Brooklyn Federal Court; Amdocs Ltd., in Hudson County Court, Jersey City; Central States Thermo King, in Kansas City, Kan.; and The Picture People, in Alameda County Court, Oakland.
