MANHATTAN (CN) - Paul Simon demands $5 million from Seiko, claiming it sold 109,000 clocks that play "Bridge Over Troubled Water," without his permission. Simon claims Seiko has been violating his copyright this way since 2001, and that the licensing fee for the tune, had he granted it, would have been more than $1 million.
Rhymin' Simon is represented in Federal Court by Steven Hayes with Hanly Conroy Bierstein.
