BIRMINGHAM, ALA. (CN) - A head bank teller who was robbed at gunpoint after 16 years as a Regions Financial employee says the bank responded by denying her claim for workers comp, denying her claims for medical and psychological treatment, canceling her health insurance, and firing her.
Angela Whitfield says Regions Bank had just promoted her to head teller when she was robbed at gunpoint at work. She demands punitive damages for fraud, reckless deceit and outrage. Her lead counsel is James Moncus III.
