NASHVILLE (CN) - The State of Tennessee threatens the lives of chronically ill and disabled people by reducing or eliminating their in-home nursing services unless they "are on a ventilator for at least 12 hours each day or have a tracheotomy," 22 people say in Federal Court. It's the latest in a string of lawsuits involving Tenncare, the state's Medicaid program.
The plaintiffs, chronically ill people from 21 to 97 years old, are represented by Michael Abelow with Sherrard & Roe.
