NEWARK (CN) - A federal class action claims the Massachusetts Turnpike Authority cheats out-of-state travelers in and around Boston by advertising "E-ZPass Accepted," but charging more for E-ZPass electronic toll payments than it charges for the in-state "Fast Pass." Ten Northeastern states use the E-ZPass.
Plaintiffs are represented by James Cecchi with Carella, Byrne, Bain of Roseland, N.J.
