MANHATTAN (CN) - A Norwegian art collector claims two men interfered in his contract to buy a Brancusi sculpture, "Miss Pogany," for 12.5 million euros. Christian Sveaas sued David Martinez, Dominique Levy, Studio Capital and L&M Arts in New York County Court.
Sveas claims the defendants persuaded the owners to back out of the deal. He demands $40 million, plus punitive damages. He is represented by Donald Kennedy with Carter, Ledyard & Milburn.
