GREENVILLE, N.C. (CN) - Whirlpool Corp. sells defective "Duet" washing machines that become moldy and make clothes smell rancid, then tries "to profit off the defective machines by selling its customers additional products, including special cleaning tablets, which are supposed to clean the mold from washers," a class action claims in Federal Court.
Plaintiffs' lead counsel is Kevin Cartledge of Winston-Salem, N.C.
