WASHINGTON (CN) - Yassin Abdullah Kadi says he is "a prominent Saudi Arabian businessman and philanthropist," but the Secretary of the Treasury put him on a U.S. watch list as a "specially designated global terrorist" on Oct. 12, 2001, and froze his assets, in error and without cause. And since Treasury's information is, of course, secret, Kadi says he cannot find out what charges, or information, if any, the Treasury has against him.
Kadi is represented in Federal Court by Sheppard, Mullin & Richter.
