WASHINGTON (CN) - The Nuclear Regulatory Commission has issued new power reactor security requirements for all licensees of power reactors, which include provisions for increased cyber security, response plans to airborne or waterborne attack, and enhanced requirements for background checks on security personnel.
The commission states that its recommendations are based on several years of implementation and review of lessons-learned from practice force-on-force exercises.
