CHICAGO (CN) - The owners of a house in Oak Park's Frank Lloyd Wright Historic District say the Landmarks Preservation Council of Illinois charged them $21,600 for an "easement" and a purported tax deduction, but the deduction was disallowed and the easement reduced the value of their house by $216,000.
Elizabeth and Howard Prossnitz demand damages for breach of contract and negligent misrepresentation. They are represented in Cook County Chancery Court by Robert Birndorf.
