(CN) - The Ohio Supreme Court disbarred attorney Justin Peter Parrish. He was convicted of felony theft for stealing $172,000 from a client's trust account.
Parrish explained that he transferred the funds to "maintain the illusion that (he) was still a successful sole practitioner."
Parrish, whose disbarment is permanent, was sentenced a four-year suspended sentence with a 20-day jail term and was ordered to pay $250,000 in restitution.
