IBM sued its former vice president of development, David L. Johnson, to try to keep him from taking a job at Dell, alleging breach of a noncompetition agreement and misappropriation of trade secrets, in White Plains, N.Y., Federal Court.
Class-action complaints alleging Labor Code violations have been filed against these defendants: Countrywide Home Loans, Priority One Medical Transport, Embroidery Industries, and Cacique Inc., in Los Angeles Superior Court; CMG Construction Corp., in Brooklyn Federal Court; APAC Customer Services, in Madison, Wisc., Federal Court; the Town of Scooba, Miss., in Greeneville Federal Court; and the City of Sevierville, Tenn., in Knoxville Federal Court.
(Companies not separated by commas are defendants in the same case.)
