Class-action complaints alleging Labor Code violations have been filed against these defendants: California Fruit Bars, Abe's Deli, and Waste & Recycling Services and Bins 4 Less, in Los Angeles Superior Court; Somerset Mortgage Bankers, in Central Islip, N.Y., Federal Court; Fashion Republic, in Newark Federal Court; RCN Corp. and RCN Telecom Services of Massachusetts and Custom Cable Concepts, in Boston Federal Court; Thermal Insulation, in Atlanta Federal Court; Briley Home Improvements, in Houston Federal Court; Tenzan New York Corp., and Canaan Japanese Cuisine, in Manhattan Federal Court; Johnson Electric Co., in Opelika, Ala., Federal Court; and Joiner & Associates, in Ocala, Fla., Federal Court.
(Companies not separated by commas are defendants in the same case.)
