MINNEAPOLIS (CN) - Minnesota says URS Corp., engineers, breached contract and negligently inspected the I-35 bridge before it collapsed on Aug. 1, 2007, killing 13 people and injuring 145. The state says it's paid more than $37 million to survivors.
In a separate complaint, also in Hennepin County Court, the state sued Travelers insurance for $9.7 million.
