ST. LOUIS (CN) — Corning International Kabushiki Kaisha will pay a $66.5 million criminal fine for conspiring to fix prices on ceramic ingredients for catalytic converters in autos, the Department of Justice said Monday.
Including Corning International K.K., 40 companies have been charged in this investigation and have agreed to pay more than $2.6 billion in criminal fines," the Justice Department said in a statement. Fifty-nine people also have been charged.
