5th Circuit

ARBITRATION, SECURITIES - World Marketing Alliance appealed the lower court's refusal to compel arbitration in a dispute with two investors who claimed the alliance sold them unsuitable investments. The 5th Circuit ruled that the alliance is no longer a member of the National Association of Security Dealers, thus the association's arbitration provisions do not apply. Affirmed. See ruling.
