17 Say K Platinum Group Scammed Them

MARTINEZ, CALIF. (CN) - K Platinum Group and Kanya Coleman defrauded three investors of $225,000 in a pyramid scheme, the investors say in Contra Costa County Court. Sixteen other claims in the same court accuse the same defendants of cheating investors of more than $628,000.

Jorie Wright allegedly helped Coleman conduct the scam.

Here are the defendants: K Platinum Group Inc.; K Platinum International Associates Inc.; K Platinum International Group Inc.; K Platinum Realty Inc.; Kanya Coleman; Jorie Wright; Yvonne Gamble; Christopher Pham; New York Life Insurance Company; CRES Insurance Services, LLC; and Blue Sky Living Trust.

Plaintiffs are represented by V. Elizabeth Grayson of New York, N.Y.
