10th Circuit

EMPLOYMENT, GOVERNMENT - After Brent Rinehart was elected Oklahoma County Commissioner, he fired Sharee Gann from her managerial job and replaced her with a woman who had campaigned for him. The 10th Circuit refused to dismiss the case on immunity grounds because Sharee had established a link between her political beliefs and defendant's decision to fire her.
