Wisconsin Abortion Ban Bill

Wisconsin Republicans have introduced a bill which could ban abortions after 14 weeks of pregnancy, but a public committee hearing Monday yielded far more criticism than support.

Wisconsin Assembly Bill 975 proposes a statewide referendum on whether to replace the state's existing prohibition on abortions after the 20th week of pregnancy with a 14-week ban, but a public hearing Monday yielded heavy criticism from both sides of the abortion debate.
