Yugoslavian, Now In Brooklyn, |Bilks Old People, SEC Says

MANHATTAN (CN) - Thompson Price Holding and Damir Lukovic aka Greg Thompson target senior citizens to defraud them in putative "investments" in IPOs in Australian companies, the SEC claims in Federal Court.

Lukovic uses the Thompson alias to defraud old timers by claiming he has "allocations" of shares in the IPOs, and by fraudulently claiming to be an underwriter or broker-dealer, the SEC says. None of the claims are true and he doesn't buy any shares with investors' money, but just sticks it in his pockets, the SEC says. He stole at least $107,730 from 10 investors this way, the Commission claims. Lukovic, formerly of Yugoslavia, "has recently resided" in Brooklyn and in Clifton, N.J. He represents himself as Thompson Price's "president" and runs the scam out of a PO Box in Manhattan, the SEC says.
