MIAMI (CN) – A federal class action claims Natura Pet Products misrepresents its pet food as “premium quality,” but pets have died from eating it. Plaintiffs claim the food is “made wholly or partially of inedible garbage” including “restaurant grease, roadkill, hair, blood, pus … excrement … moldy grains, hulls, Styrofoam packaging from discarded supermarket meat, euthanized animals, including cats and dogs, and/or diseased, dying, disabled and dead animals.”

Plaintiffs are represented by Catherine Macivor with Maltzman Foreman. This 33-page filing has another 41 pages of attachments.
