Yellow Transportation Condones Racism,|Chicago Drivers Say In Class Action

CHICAGO (CN) - Fourteen drivers say in a federal class action that Yellow Transportation condones vile racist aggression at its Chicago Ridge hub, including hanging of nooses, Klan symbols, and written and spoken racist threats and intimidation. The drivers say they were punished for complaining of this by losing medical benefits and being fired.

The drivers' lead attorney is Randall Schmidt with the Edwin F. Mandel Legal Aid Clinic.
