MANHATTAN — The Second Circuit partially vacated a former Yale student’s defamation and tortious interference claims against the university after he was dismissed for allegedly sexually assaulting another student. The Connecticut Supreme Court advised that immunity did not apply because the disciplinary hearing against him was not quasi-judicial in nature, so the circuit vacates the dismissal of the defamation claim, though the tortious interference one is found untimely.
