Wrongful Termination

A former Illinois Department of Transportation employee may pursue wrongful termination claims against former Republican Governor Bruce Rauner, a federal court ruled. The woman has sufficiently alleged that department officials, under Rauner’s direction, fired her because of her affiliation with the Democratic Party.
