Writers Say A&E TV Show Was Their Idea

LOS ANGELES (CN) - Three men who say they write and produce "reality" TV shows claim Corey Haim, Corey Feldman and others swiped their idea for the A&E TV show "The Two Coreys."

David Pullano, Matthew Odgers and Jeff McCarthy claim that in 2003 they developed the idea for a show based on "80's teen idols Corey Haim and Corey Feldman." They also sue Scott Carlson, the two Corey's manager; Greg Goldman, a TV producer; and RDF Media USA. They claim Goldman and RDF announced the new show to "Variety" in June 2006, after making "a secret side deal" that cut them out of it. A&E bought the show in 2006 and it is preparing its second season.

Plaintiffs are represented in Superior Court by Douglas Johnson of Beverly Hills.
