Workers Sue Las Vegas Review Journal

LAS VEGAS (CN) – The Las Vegas Review Journal took advantage of 10 Spanish-speaking delivery workers by making them sign an unfair contract, in English, with a slew of hidden charges, and firing them when they complained of it, the workers say in Clark County Court. They say the newspaper breached its bad-faith contract, which unfairly charged them $1.50 per customer complaint, regardless of validity, forced them to buy equipment from the LVRJ, and pay it “a route list fee, a number fee, a gate card number fee and a door/gate opener fee.”
