Workers Accused of Serving Drugged Drinks

MEDINA, Ohio (CN) - Fiesta Jalapeno employees put extra alcohol and date-rape drugs into a pitcher of blue margaritas and served them to an Ohio woman and two of her friends, the woman claims in Medina County Court.

The plaintiff claims they each drank about two margaritas and were getting ready to leave the restaurant, when employees Fidel Santillan and Oscar Garcia-Rivas offered to take them home.

The restaurant workers allegedly took the plaintiff to her house. She claims Santillan raped her while Garcia-Rivas drove one of her friends home.

Garcia-Rivas came back to pick up Santillan, and they returned to work, the alleged victim claims.

She sued the workers for assault, battery and rape, and accused the restaurant and its owners of general negligence and negligent hiring. She demands at least $500,000.
