Workday and age discrimination

SAN FRANCISCO — A federal court in California certified a collective action against Workday over its applicant screening software, which uses AI in a manner that allegedly discriminates against applicants. The suing man and others say they are all over the age of 40, and they say they’ve been rejected from hundreds of job applications without getting an interview due to age discrimination in the screening process.
