Work Hazards

WASHINGTON (CN) - Employers of those working among asbestos, lead, or other harmful particles may be fined for each employee denied protective equipment or safety training, as a separate violation, OSHA plans to clarify in an amended regulation.

The same would be true of training regarding noise levels and the danger of falling.

The clarifications also include that each respirator must be "suitable for the purpose intended," and employers must ensure that its employees go to the trainings and use the equipment.
