Wool Growers Challenge Bighorn Ruling

BOISE (CN) – The Idaho Wool Growers Association has filed a challenge to the Secretary of Agriculture’s finding that domestic sheep might spread disease to bighorn sheep if they are allowed to graze in Payette and Nez Perce National Forests.

The group claims the committees that made the decisions lacked a qualified veterinarian who knew about domestic sheep, and lacked other experts. It also demands records and information, in Federal Court.
