Woman’s Duplex Willed |To Her Niece, Not Charity

ALBANY, N.Y. (CN) - The American Committee for the Weizmann Institute of Science failed to convince the New York Court of Appeals that Doris Weingarten had intended to give the profits from the sale of her $1 million Manhattan duplex co-op apartment to the science institute, when shewilled the co-op to her niece before her death in 2004.
