FLORENCE, Ariz. (CN) - A woman claims that when she told a homeroom science teacher at Florence High School she was thirsty and wanted to buy water from a hallway vending machine, the teacher denied her permission, but poured her a glass of hydrochloric acid and said, "Drink this." She did.
It is unclear from the complaint whether the plaintiff is a student or an adult. She sued Florence Unified School District and Denise Riley, the teacher who allegedly gave her the acid. The plaintiff is represented in Pinal County Court by Jason Leonard with Morgan & Morgan of Fort Myers, Fla.
