Woman Says Drunk Nevada Governor Attacked And Threatened To Rape Her

LAS VEGAS (CN) - A waitress claims Gov. Jim Gibbons physically assaulted her and demanded sex after a night of drinking in October 2006. The woman says Gibbons stole her car keys, then accosted her in a parking garage, pinned her against a wall, and told her, "I'm going to rape you."

She says the attack was interrupted when three young men entered the garage.

The plaintiff is represented in Federal Court by Robert Kossack.
