Woman Says Doctor Had Sex With Her

CHICAGO (CN) - A woman claims her doctor at Evanston Northwestern Healthcare had sex with her in a hospital examining room, in the presence of her children, while he treated her for depression and other problems. She sued the hospital and Dr. Lamont Tyler in Cook County Court.

The woman also sued Tyler's identical twin, Dr. Lamarr Tyler, who was "director of obstetrics and gynecology at certain facilities owned and operated by ENH," according to the complaint.

She does not accuse Lamarr Tyler of any sexual indiscretions.

The woman claims that Lamont Tyler had sex with her "on numerous occasions at various locations owned and operated by ENH" from Oct. 29, 2002 until Oct. 17, 2003.

She says Lamont Tyler also delivered her two children, and "inveigl(ed)" her into believing "that sexual contact with him ... was somehow part of her therapy and recovery process."

She claims, among other things, that Lamont Tyler "had sexual contact with [her] in the presence of her two children" at a hospital facility on Sept. 23, 2003, and that his sexual exploitation ended about one month later.

She is represented by John Winters with Winters Enright & Salzetta.
