Woman Says Brutal Rapper Gave Her Herpes

ROSEVILLE, Calif. (CN) — A woman sued the hip-hop singer known as Sage the Gemini, claiming he sexually battered and sodomized her and gave her herpes.

Lauren Doe sued Dominic Wynn Woods aka Sage the Gemini on May 27 in Placer County Court.

She says in the lawsuit that Woods "touts his sexual conquests with crude and sexist lyrics that he weaves into his music. Defendant's sexual urges, as expressed in his vulgar music, became real with a horrific and violent attack on plaintiff" on Nov. 24, 2015.

Doe says Woods invited her to his home in Granite Bay to watch a movie, and "took her on a tour of his residence and stopped inside his bedroom. He closed his bedroom doors, pinned her down on his bed, and inserted himself into her both vaginally and anally. He did not use a condom. During the attack, she repeatedly pleaded for him to stop, but he ignored her requests. More shocking, he was infected with genital herpes at the time of the attack and infected her with his genital disease."

She adds: "Defendant's violent, sexual attack inflicted severe physical pain on plaintiff and caused her severe emotional distress, which will continue for the remainder of her life as genital herpes is incurable. Plaintiff has had to leave college and her basketball team also as a result of her physical and emotional injuries."

Woods did not respond to an email sent to his recording label, HBK Gang.

Woods is the former boyfriend of 2007 "American Idol" winner Jordin Sparks. The two split in February this year, according to fan mags.

Doe seeks medical expenses and punitive damages for sexual battery and negligence.

She is represented by Dominic Spinelli, with Spinelli, Donald & Nott in Sacramento, who was not available to comment Tuesday afternoon.
