Woman Says Bible College Counselor|Took Advantage After Her Husband Died

SEVIERVILLE, Tenn. (CN) – A woman who sought Christian counseling after her husband’s death says Johnson Bible College assigned James Bruce Bailey to her, and he romanced her, created “two virtual Internet shrines” to her, and that Bailey’s wife stalked her when she found out about their affair, after which Bailey, or his wife, defamed her on the Internet by calling her a “home wrecker.”

Plaintiff Anne Owens demands punitive damages from Bailey, the college, Seymour Heights Christian Church, and Dr. Peter N. Cummins, a professor at Johnson Bible College. She is represented by W. Andrew Fox of Knoxville.
