Woman Hurt by Soft Drink Tower Awarded $200,000

CLAYTON, Mo. - A St. Louis County jury ordered Coca-Cola to pay $200,000 to a woman who underwent back surgery after a tower of soft drinks fell on her. Edna Ramsey, 54, was hit by a stack of 12-packs at a Dierberg's grocery store on May 18, 2005.

Dierberg's was not a party in the suit. Ramsey had a cervical fusion surgery as and her attorney said more surgeries may be needed in the future.
