Woman, 70, Says Airline Worker Molested Her

ALEXANDRIA, Va. (CN) - A 70-year-old woman says a Taca International Airlines worker fondled her crotch, forcibly kissed her and stole $300 from her bra while providing her with wheelchair assistance at Dulles Airport.

She claims that Taca employee Tomas Abagisa had sexually molested another elderly woman the week before, but "TACA did not forward the letter [of complaint] to the police, nor did it remove the wheelchair operator from his position; instead, the company filed the letter away and took no action." Taca is the national airline of El Salvador.

The elderly plaintiff seeks $1 million in compensatory damages and $350,000 in punitive damages for negligent retention and battery. She is represented in City Court by Simon Moshenberg with Victor Glasberg & Associates.
