‘Winner’ Says Miller Beer| Stiffed Him For $1 Million

CHICAGO (CN) - Miller Brewing Co. promised, then refused to pay Edwin Evashenk $1 million for a winning ticket he was given at a promotion at an auto show sponsored by co-defendants Hayes Beer Distributing Co., Coach's Corner and Team Enterprises, Evashenk claims in Cook County Court. Evashenk claims an unidentified Miller Lite Girl snatched the ticket from him and said, "You were not supposed to receive that ticket. It was meant for a different promotion." He says he complained to Miller, which promised to pay, then stiffed him.
