HOUSTON (CN) - International oil and gas company Willbros Group bribed Nigerian and Ecuadoran officials to get pipeline contracts, paying $6 million to the Nigerians and more than $300,000 to officials of PetroEcuador, the SEC claims in Federal Court.
The SEC also sued Jason Steph, Willbros' former general manager for onshore operations in Nigeria; Gerald Jansen, former general manager for finance; Lloyd Biggers, who worked in Nigeria; and Carlos Galvez, who was a supervisor in Bolivia.
