OAKLAND, Calif. - A reporter-photographer claims Oakland police assaulted him "maliciously and sadistically" and falsely charged him with "attempted arson," for daring to cover a protest against the verdict exonerating an Oakland cop for the killing of Oscar Grant on a BART platform.
