MANHATTAN — Convicted rapist Harvey Weinstein sued the British talent agent Barrie Duncan Heath for roughly $138,000 on Monday, saying Heath has bought himself a nearly $3 million home on Hollywood Boulevard while defaulting on a loan to get Heath’s son “immediate in-patient drug rehabilitation treatment.”
Though the loan to Heath came from The Weinstein Co., Weinstein says he repaid his former company personally.
Heath’s spokesman called the lawsuit “a transparent attempt to raise funds for his mounting legal fees.”
