Waste disposal in Guam

HONOLULU — The Ninth Circuit found that a Guam nonprofit has standing to challenge the Air Force’s decision to engage in hazardous waste disposal at Tarague Beach, reversing the district court’s decision to dismiss their lawsuit. The military intended to dispose of unexploded ordnance without conducting a National Environmental Policy Act review.
