Walgreens Loses Suit Over Tissue Paper Import Fees

(CN) - Walgreens lost a challenge to the government's decision that the tissue paper in Walgreens' gift bags falls within the scope of antidumping restrictions on tissue paper products from China.

Walgreens argued that its gift bags didn't fall under the 2005 antidumping duty order, because the tissue paper was a minor part of the item.

"Commerce reasonably determined that the tissue paper in Plaintiff's gift bag sets falls within the scope of the order," the Court of International Trade ruled.
